It's that time of year when we really start to think about and focus on our Goals. I recommend we don't just to this at the beginning of the year, but that we are evaluating and setting goals more regularly. There are so many tips to help us move in the direction of hitting out goals, but the biggest is TAKING ACTION! Do not allow yourself to fall victim to analysis paralysis! Do not spend so much time perfecting a plan and researching the best ways to get something done that you never take action to get there! Sometimes the best thing you can do is anything. This isn't to say that the action you start with is going to be what you need to do, but it will get you going in the right direction. You then need to continually evaluate where you are at and determine the next best course of action. How many times have you allowed yourself to become so overwhelmed with the possible ways to reach a goal that you froze and didn't do any of them? I challenge you to set a goal, set a scary goal and then, once it is written down immediately take some sort of action toward reaching it (even if it is just marking your calendar with what time you will work on it tomorrow)!
