Do the work, reap the rewards...it is that simple! If you have goals, you need to put in the work required to achieve them. It isn't always easy and it isn't always pretty, but it is necessary. You won't always have the support of others, in fact, many times you will hear the "haters" out there telling you how crazy you are and that maybe you are even being "obsessed" over working toward your goal. Don't let them stop you! They are the same people who will come back later and tell you how "lucky" you are to be where you are. If it is fitness, they will say how lucky you are to have lost weight, inches, or even have abs! If it is work you may hear how "lucky" you were to have gotten that promotion. If it is relationships, you may hear how "lucky" you are to be in a good one! You know the reality is that you did the darn work! The harder you work, the luckier you will become!

We do NOT need permission to be great. Too often we are waiting for that "nod" of approval from others to go after what we want in life. The reality is, you will not get the permission you want or need to go after your greatness. "Great men and women don't give a damn if anyone approves." - Brendon Burchard, The Motivation Manifesto Do you think Mark Zuckerberg gave a damn about what anyone thought about his plan to create Facebook? We know he was met with resistance. Not even his good friends wanted in on his huge, society changing idea. You will face all sorts of haters and resistance out there. Those openly doing it because they are jerks and the ones who are "hating in disguise" out of care and love and concern for you. Sometimes you are met with resistance from friends because they are afraid that when you make changes you will leave them behind. Sometimes you are met with resistance because what you are doing is shining a light on a dark part of their life or heart and they don't like what it is revealing about them. Stop waiting for other people approval and start doing the things you know you should and want to be doing. Go be great!

I have created a Facebook community for those looking to set and smash goals with their fitness and nutrition. I would love to have you join us at Finding My Fierce I have already discussed some of my thoughts on Doubt and how that doubt can kill who we are meant to become, so what can be worse than doubt? According to Brendon Burchard, DELAY is worse than doubt. The reason this is worse than doubt is because at least with doubt, we can still be taking some kind of action to move forward. We can still take some action with doubt which is far better than delaying and not taking action at all. Delay can destroy us. Think about those things that are important but you keep putting them off because they are hard or scary or uncomfortable. The longer we put them off, the less likely we are to do them, or to do them well. What are some of those things that are important to you that you know you need to start? What are you delaying and not starting? There will always be some sort of excuse and timing will NEVER be perfect, so knock it off! Stop putting things off and start working towards those goals and dreams that have been placed inside you. Start taking action even if you have doubt in your mind until you can squash that doubt. Do the things you have put off because of fear. God did not give us fear. He has give us a spirit of power and love and self control. (2 Timothy 1;7). God has given you the gifts, talents and abilities to live in your greatness. Stop delaying and stir that desire inside you that you have been created to do.

I have created a Facebook community for those looking to set and smash goals with their fitness and nutrition. I would love to have you join us at Finding My Fierce You were created for Greatness. You were created to do amazing things and you have been equipped with EVERYTHING you need to cary out your purpose! Too often we don't live in our greatness or the purpose we were created to live because we allow doubt to creep into our minds. We have the ability to choose our thinking and our attitudes and we don't utilize this power nearly enough! This is NOT easy. It takes practice and intentional effort. We must reprogram our brain to eliminate the doubt. We need to stop playing all the "What if" games:
Doubt stops us from living the greatness that we were put here to live. "The greatest damage from doubt isn't just what we fail to do, it's WHO we fail to become." Do you understand?!?! Doubt Kills WHO we are meant to become! Stop allowing doubt from keeping you from becoming WHO you were meant to be in this life.

I have created a Facebook community for those looking to set and smash goals with their fitness and nutrition. I would love to have you join us at Finding My Fierce You heard me right, I totally said "screw motivation." Did you start the year all fired up? Did you have big goals and resolutions you were ready to attack and finally reach? We start with some level of motivation, but the problem is, it will fade. It may be enough to get us started, but it isn't always enough to keep us going. I say "screw motivation" because I see change and get results because I do the work even when I am not feeling motivated. It is your commitment and consistency that will keep you going on the days you are not motivated. It is your commitment and consistency to yourself and to your family that will get you the results you are looking for! Sometimes just starting a task will get you motivated and moving forward, but if it doesn't, DO IT ANYWAY! Grow up, suck it up and DO THE THING! Do the thing you know you are suppose to do. Do the right things. Be an Adult and take care of business! It is scary when I can guess who is going to have the best chance of succeeding before even starting a task. It saddens me to see people failing before they begin! It is time to change that and set yourself up to succeed with this one thing! DECIDE to! You need to DECIDE that you will succeed. You need to set your mind right before you begin or you will set yourself up for failure. Your mind is too powerful not to use to your advantage. What's worse though is when you allow it to work against you! Make a darn decision, believe you will be successful, go all in, do the work, get results! The time for one foot in the boat and one foot out is long gone...all that will get you is very wet!
